Notice of Race (NOR) 

Rules:

The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2013 ­2016, appendix E to the RRS rules and the Sailing Instructions.

  • The Sailing Instructions, and any modifications to the RRS will be available to each skipper at registration.  Further changes will be published on the notice board.
  • There shall be no appeal of Judge's Decision that could affect a boat's promotion relegation per RRS 70.4(a).
  • All boats must comply with the CR914 Class Rules. Boats will be measured, weighed and bow bumpers will be required. Entrants shall be registered CR914 owners in good standing of the AMYA and the CR914 class.
  • The maximum number of entrants will be 23 in the 75MHz band, 6 in the 27M Hz band and open in the 2.4 GHz band.
  • It is desirable, but not mandatory, that attendees use 2.4 GHz radios.

Format:

Saturday and Sunday races will be conducted and scored in accordance with RRS and Fleet Scoring Solutions as modified by the Sailing Instructions,

Registration:

Entries will be accepted, at your earliest convenience, using the online Entry Form accompanied by the $75 entry fee on a first-come / received basis and you will be notified of your entry acceptance and frequency assignment. Final registration and measurement at The Fly Loft will be Friday October 31st. 1:00 – 4:00 pm (late registration on Saturday October 13th, 9:00 AM at Carol Williams Pond).  Entries submitted after October 15th will be subject to a $50 late fee.  ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE AT HTTP://WWW.GTMYC.ORG/2014NCR.

12pm – 2pm: Regatta Tuning and Racing Clinic
2pm - 5pm: Early check-in
5pm - Happy Hour

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1st  
08:30 Check-in begins, day of Registration & measurement
09:30am - Skippers Meeting,
09:45am – Seeing race  
10:00am - Start for first race
12:00pm - Lunch at pond
12:45pm - Start for afternoon heat
03:00pm – Last race of Day 1
06:00pm – Social Event

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd
9:30am - Skippers Meeting,
10:00am – Start of next race
12:00pm - Lunch at pond
12:45pm – Racing Continues
2:15pm - Last Race
2:45pm – AWARDS
